Whenever I go out of town, I always look for gluten free pastry places. This one is HANDS DOWN the best one I have found!!!! Such a good selection, amazing taste, the best coffee and GREAT customer service! Great job guys!
Listen, $70 later I am in love! This place is sublime. Professional kind and courteous service from the time you walk in. The building is clean and sleek showcasing the pastries, candies, and breads perfectly. But the pastries and breads...OH. MY. GOD. I have a sweet tooth and so does my husband. We love a good diabetic-inducing moment to regret later, but this! This was heavenly. So first know this: their pastries and breads are NOT overly sweet like you'd buy at a standard bakery. These pastries are subtle, rich, and airy when you think they'd be anything but that. If you like cloyingly sweet and sugary pastries this is not what you will enjoy. I mean you get sweetness, but can also taste the butter and creams because the flavors are prominent with the subtle sweetness you want a pastries to have. I've never been to France so I won't claim how perfectly done these pastries are or are not, but if THIS is how French pastries are done, I see why they are considered the standard! I will be back and I don't mind spending whatever I pay for pastries this good. Worth the trip, the cost, and the time. I'm kind of obsessed now. 🥰
Best pastry shop in all of Tallahassee. Fruit tarts are heavenly 😋 my kids love the macarons. And they offer gluten free and flourless options. A bit pricy but soooooo worth it.. …
This place doesn't disappoint! There are multiple categories of pastries and so many choices from each. From chocolates to macaroons, tour tastebuds will thank you. This has great gift packaging for to-go orders, but I don't like to share! Umm!
The person who helped us was really friendly.
The place is small, have a lot of option, does not have a restroom for customers.
Coffee tastes like water. Black forest was ok.
Passion and coconut merengue was very disappointing, too much cream, passion fruit flavor was extract, very bland. The coconut brûlée was the best one, but sugar was tasting burnt and coconut custard taste more like a marshmallow than a custard.
Taste buds dance with delight here. The pastries are a worthy treat to any diet. The sandwiches are delicious on bread baked on site. The coffee is good. A visit here is worth the effort. Located across from the Tallahassee bus terminal, there is parking in the rear and it is a short walk from other downtown locations.
The food was amazing!!!
Staff was so accommodating. I got there a few minutes before closing, and they were super nice. I didn't feel rushed. They had so many options to choose from.
One of the best places in Tallahassee to treat yourself to some great pastries and confectioneries. They serve some sandwiches, too. I used to visit Au Peche quite quite often before the pandemic and I really liked to get a cup of coffee and some cookies and spend some time sitting at the table by the window. I liked the black forest cake and eclairs. They have a wide variety of cakes and pastries and I am sure they all are great. I absolutely love the cheesecake they serve. The pastries and cakes are a little expensive but they are worth their price. I was there recently and they only allow take outs and delivery now. i got a slice of cheesecake and triomphe. The cheesecake was marvellous as always. The cream just perfect and and the cake creamy, soft and rich. It just melts away in your mouth. I would love to spend some time there once they allow dine-ins.
